Our History

De Georgio Transport (UK) Limited was formed in December 1990 as a subsidiary of the De Georgio Group of companies to support Road Groupage services between the Headquarters in Marcianise (Naples) and the UK.

The business initially expanded services across Italy cementing its position as a leading player in the Italy/UK marketplace.

During this period the business developed strong links with the Horticultural sector, particularly in the movement of full loads of trees and shrubs for the landscaping and architectural market based in the region of Pistoia.

Customer service has always been at the heart of the business, and the ever-changing requirements of our clients has seen steady growth in the development of Road Groupage capabilities across Europe with accompanying Ocean and Air services.

The company also offer Warehousing and Logistics Services at its UK Hub in West Thurrock Essex, the facilities being 5 minutes from the M25 motorway with links to all parts of the UK and Ireland.
